Q. I would
like to
become a
legal nurse
consultant
(LNC). What
course or
program
should I
attend? *AALNC is currently developing the Introduction to LNC program which will be offered as an online course and will be launching toward of the end of 2005. If you are interested in receiving information about this program, just enter your name and email in the Introduction to LNC box on the homepage. While AALNC does not endorse any specific external programs, the following criteria should be considered in assessing credible, useful legal nurse consulting education :

area? Membership in AALNC
Q. What's
the
difference
between an
active,
associate,
and
sustaining
membership? Associate membership is open to any Registered Nurse with an active license, who has not yet performed work as a legal nurse consultant. Associate members are not eligible to vote, serve on committees, or hold office at the national or the chapter level. Sustaining membership is open to all individuals or groups (such as LPNs, attorneys, law firms, or universities) who have an interest in supporting the goals and receiving the services of AALNC. Sustaining members are not eligible to vote, serve on committees, or hold office at the national or the chapter level. All members receive access to the online membership directory, a listing in the LNC Locator, the quarterly Journal of Legal Nurse Consulting, the NetworkNews e-newsletter, and member discounts on products, conferences, and certification. To join AALNC, simply complete the membership application!
