About Us

The Greater Indianapolis Indiana Chapter of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants was first formed in 1991. It is charted by the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants (AALNC) which was founded in 1989. Both the national and local chapters consist of Registered Nurses and who practice in the field of medical-legal concerns.

The Greater Indianapolis Indiana Chapter of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants is a non-profit organization whose mission it is to promote the professional development of Registered Nurses practicing in a consulting capacity in the legal field.

Our Chapter Goals
1.) To provide networking opportunities for nurses seeking to gain information about a career in the legal environment.
2.) To educate nurses on topics that further promote the skills of the LNC.
3.) To build a resource of educational materials that develop the skills of the LNC.
4.) To educate the community about the role of the LNC.
